Morning all
myself and fellow St Neots mrc club member Pete Dillingham have just spent a pleasant Saturday 20th Sept operating my layout saltfleet at the mid Essex show. This was Petes first real experience operating a digital layout. Helpful mid Essex club members, enthusiastic visitors and good food made this event well worthwhile. I am pleased too report that Saltfleet ran with no major issues and that we dispelled many of Petes fears about p4 and digital operation. Did we please all of the people all of the time probably not but we did our best and more positive feedback was received than negative. Most criticisms were made in a constructive manner and where possible I will act on them. However I must remind myself that Saltfleet was built for home entertainment and in order to protect it,s identity I need to be careful.
