DEMU Showcase 2014

Postby Terry Bendall » Sun May 25, 2014 8:42 pm

The DEMU showcase exhibition takes place next weekend, May 31st and June 1st at Burton Town Hall, King Edward Place, Burton upon Trent, DE14 2EB. Although this well-known all diesel and electric event does not feature any layouts built to P4 standards this year the Society stand will be there with myself on duty. We hope to offer an impromptu soldering help desk so for all those who have not yet mastered the so called black art come along for a lesson. Advice on converting a range of locos and stock to P4 standards will also be available.

Looks like I'll get the Craven and the Railbus converted now.
Ordsall Road (BR(E)), Forge Mill Sidings (BR(M)), Kirkcliffe Coking Plant (BR(E)), Swanage (BR (S)) and Heaby (LMS/MR). Acquired Thorneywood (GNR). Still trying to "Keep the Balance".
