I have picked up a rather old secondhand P4 loco which has a ZTC 215 decoder installed.
Does anyone know whether this decoder is suitable for use on "regular" DCC control systems? My system is Lenz and my locos are a mixed bag of DCC decoders from many sources, all of which work just fine with the Lenz.
So, other than resetting the CV's to suit my needs, would the ZTC 215 just take its place amongst my pot pouri of other decoders?
Thanks for any help on this.
Chris

Try it, but expect to be disappointed.
You may not be able to change its CVs, but you may be lucky.
Probably better off pulling it out and replacing with a modern Lenz/Zimo decoder.
