Guttering

Postby David B » Tue Jul 14, 2020 7:07 pm

I would point people to Modelu's range of guttering which is now available, both half-round and ogee. The bits for downpipes have been available for a while, but the guttering is a boon. Chimney pots have also been added to the range. It appears Alan has been very busy during the lockdown.

The range of specialist chimney pots is also well worth a look. The crown and coronet varieties are not the easiest items to make from scratch, so I foresee myself ordering some of these. Would like some better images of the louvred chimneys; not so sure about whether these accurately reproduce the prototypes with which I am familiar.

('Being familiar with a chimney pot' sounds like something that could get me into a lot of trouble)

The 4D model shop carries a good range of extruded plastic shapes, including one that serves as very decent 4mm guttering - and is easy to work.
