Work light

I bought a couple of these lights from Hobbycraft where they are on offer at the moment - £20 instead of £30. They seem to have sold out on-line but I got mine from the Newton Abbot store this morning where they had a plentiful stock. There are stores around the country.

Hobbycraft have also started to stock what the Americans call Basswood in various sections and small sheets.
