London Road Models RSU steel work plate/jig

London Road Models have introduced a new RSU work plate/jig.

Measuring 295mm x 85mm the paxolin backed steel plate has a vertical fence along the rear edge, which includes the socket for the supplied banana plug to connect to the RSU. Two magnetic blocks and a moveable vertical steel fence are included.

The RSU work plates are now available at £47:50, including P&P

I received mine today. Ordered because I could have spent time I wanted to save cobbling something together and it probably would have been unsatisfactory. I liked the idea of magnets and the fence to hold things.

It is a well, thoughtfully designed product and extremely well made. The loose fence is magnetic and it comes with the banana plug and, as a nice touch, a Scotchbright type pad for cleaning.

No connection etc..
