Evening all,
Prompted by a conversation on the GERS email list over the last 24 hours about the need for some 4mm GER headcode discs, I've fired up my CAD package...
I've had a quick think, and a play around, and the results are attached. Knowing there are a number of GER/LNER/BR(E) <spit> modellers on here, I thought I'd share these with you as well. I've tried, particularly in the handles, to compromise between fidelity and practicality when etched to 4mm scale.
The scale at the top of the image is in millimetres, as a guide to size.
Comments or suggestions welcome.
A quick note of caution - I may not send these off to be etched immediately. I'm halfway through the design of a fully sprung chassis for a GER 5-plank wagon in 4mm. I'd like to get that to test-etch state before sending these off to be done at the same time.
Cheers
Flymo
