Re: NER Electric Autocar
Not out of my period or location I too received their lovely email and then another copy from a mate here in Melbourne! Yes I will be putting my hand up for one (trying not to be 2)... will it make it from OO to P4... dont know but as I a 3 year old version of me is saying "Me want"
I wonder what the time line is for release. My only reservation on this is it is a Heljan production and I have not had a great experience with their products.
Fingers crossed they come out to high aclaim and are P4 convertable!

Has anyone converted one of these to EM or P4 since they came out?

Worsley Works do a "scratchbuilding aid" (sides, ends, and a few other bits) - top of the list here: http://www.worsleyworks.co.uk/4mm/4mm_LNER_Pregroup.htm

Re: NER Electric Autocar
Thanks for the tip I will have a look. I have had a look at some of their other stuff in the past and have found that they don't match the photos of the prototype. The ones that springs to mind is the Furness railcar and coaches that ware drawn from the Rush book which is a complete work of fiction.

The railcar looks OK to my eye, but I'm not overly familiar with it. In the past I've asked him to send photos of the etches, which is something you could do.
