Mousa Model kit production

Postby billbedford » Tue Mar 08, 2016 12:02 pm

Since there is a another thread in the sales forum which touches on my kit production, I've made a list of which kits can be expected later this year.

About to ship - just waiting for the final few parts.

    BWK1507/4 LNWR D.32 Van
    BWK0001/4 LNER D.64 Toad E Brake Van
Ready June - Patterns to be send for casting next week.

    BWK0220/4 NER D. S1 Ironstone Hopper
Ready July/August - Drawings done patterns to be printed

    BWK1105/4 HR Fish Wagon
Ready August/September - Drawings to be done.

    BWK0764/4 GNSR D.10S 5 Plank Open Wagon
BWK1503/4 LNWR D.4 Open Goods Wagon 36" sides and doors

BWK0403/4 GNR D.7/38 Five Plank Coal Wagon

There are other products in the pipeline, but with a turn round time of some five months I am less certain of their release dates.

Hi Bill,

I noticed that you have the D64 Toad E in the pipeline. Will it have plain verandah ends, the ones with the two largish timber stanchions or provision to do either? I'll have one anyway, just curious.

Dare we ask about chassis kits that are in preparation?
Cheers,

It has the short steel 'T' stanchions and steel duckets.

The loco frames have been put on a back burner until I get my own printer, but they will not have the long turnaround time that the resin has. So expect some movement on this for Wells/Scaleforum.

Thanks Bill,

those of us who live in the colonies don't get to chat at a show and find out what the latest news might be, so I appreciate hearing the current the state of play, so to speak...
Cheers,

Mark.

Since I was showing these off at 101 Not Out yesterday, I thought I would share photo of the new coach kits with the rest of the world. The pre-orders should be shipping toward the end of this coming week.

BRK0441/4 - GNR D.277 45' Howlden Brake Third

BRK0440-4-1.jpg

BRK0440/4 - GNR D.129 45' Howlden Composite

They are priced at £80.00 each plus postage.

The models will be going for painting in the next few days, hence the lack of commode handles, buffers, couplings and pipework.
