Now released as a 3D printed body with some chassis options.

I haven't built one yet although the client who initiated the commission tells me the body and chassis are good and is in the process of doing so so I'd think so.

I've painted the renders in a later LMS livery for potential effect. :)

Furness sections with chassis options:

There are actually two loco bodies uploaded as the client wanted one with a slightly bigger sunroof than the drawings had so I've linked you with the other. To lid the sunroof a scrap bit of anything will do.

There's some more pics on RMweb:

11102 should have three-link rather than screw couplings despite being vacuum fitted, and there should be a horizontal protection board mounted on the cowcatcher to protect it from damage by the coupling. I presume that it has a large radiator grill at the front rather than the smaller one shown in the second photo (of a different model).

The 04 class are an absolute minefield when it comes to detail variations - the article in an early MRJ barely scraped the surface. I was intending to do a listing for placing on RMweb in the same way as I did for the 08/09 class but the task became so difficult that I gave up eventually. There are more variations among the 03 class too than one might assume.

The coupling looks like a three link with the middle link over the hook, rather than a screw coupling, and the board is there; the coupling is resting on it. Both should have the large grill; so far as I know the only later series loco with skirts and a small grille was one with the front footplate cut out, all the others being in the 2210-14 series, which also had the small side window cab and large radiator grille, but had the later front windows, with the slope at the bottom. You could also point out that the buffer heads are too small, and that 11102 in black had the whole of the buffer beam painted red [i.e. including the bit behind the cowcatcher], with white lining around the edges.

Oh how true! It's a very nice looking model though.

Grill has already been increased since those pictures were taken although I'll increase it a bit more now better source material has been obtained. Was a commission initially and we had to use what we had found at the time.

Finally completed a proper SCC website. :thumb

I've done what I can for Mobile View also although some of the text refuses to shuffle nicely on the main page.  It's all good for Desktop currently.  Screen Shot:

Also new Catalogue price list that has pictures and hyper links to Shapeways equivalents so hopefully navigation will be super easy.

It replaces the 2019 one in items, format and range.
