LNWR/LMS/BR 32’ six wheel Inspection Saloon
Five 32’ Inspection saloons were converted from earlier Family Saloons, including the addition of an open veranda at one end. The conversions were carried out around 1910, the last Inspection Saloon lasting into BR hands, still in LMS livery in 1952. An unusual and interesting item which, coupled to a suitable engineer’s loco, would make a short “train” that most LNWR/LMS/BR layout could accommodate.
The carriage body is etched in brass, with a N/S Cleminson underframe, similar to that in our other LNWR six wheel carriages. The kit includes a vacuum formed roof, cast buffers, etc. Price £38.50.

In case he's too busy getting ready for the show himself, I'll just point out that Jol has mentioned on another thread (and elsewhere) that all the LRM new products will be available at York. Better get there quick ...

Re: London Road Models LNWR/LMS/BR six wheel Inspection Salo
Alan,
London Road Models only announce kits and prices when they are actually available (although publishing and production lead times can complicate that). So yes, they are now available mail order (but not on the LRM website yet, John has been too busy getting organised for York to do it) or, as David points out, at the York show this coming weekend.
David,
my involvement with LRM is still simply designing some of the LNWR stuff (lately the six wheel underframes, Renown 4-4-0 and 2500 gallon tender) as well as creating the pricelist copy and doing the on-line PR.
I shan't be at York, or even S4N sadly, as I am recovering from major keyhole surgery.

Hi Doug,
thanks.
The largest keyhole "port" (there were six for various tools) was apparently 14mm, so not even OO. I didn't get to discuss gauges with the surgical Registrar, his modelling activities revolve around his young son who is into balsa wood planes at present.
Slowly getting better, I have started on the last of the point rodding on the London Road "extension".
Best wishes,
Jol
