New High Level Chassis and Loco

Postby High Level Kits » Thu May 01, 2014 1:27 pm

Those who attended Scalefour North may have noticed two new kits on the stand, which I hope to have ready for the end of May.

Chassis for LNER/BR J72 (post 1914)...

as the BEL2 started off as a battery electric loco the kit should follow suit and allow for building it as a battery powered/radio controlled one. ;)

It looks like it has plenty of space for li-po batteries but not using the traditional 12 volt motors so a source for 3 volt gear-head motors is needed.

Hmm, plunger pickups and some lovely detail, well done Chris. Any chance the builder might give us a blow by blow- how about it Dave?

Cheers,

David

John, if you like battery power then you may be able to work something out but, as it comes, the body is full of can motor and gearing to give 108:1 reduction, four wheel drive and full compensated, so performance should be pretty good as it is.

Utterly exquisite, both - as you would expect. Nice ones, Chris!

Knowing Chris's Products inspires confidence and the end product and additional details look fantastic!
