Although these diagrams are most commonly associated with the Plymouth area, some worked around Exeter, trailers 93 and 95 (diagram Q) and 96 and 98 (diagram R). They were fitted with gangways, and in the early 1930s 93 seems to have been paired with 98. In the 1940s 93 was paired with 96.
The Worsley Works etches seem to be based on the official diagrams which show vertical beading below the waist every two windows along the side, whereas by the 1930s this beading had been removed to leave one long panel between the doors at either end.

Rather expensive for what you get.

I'm modelling the mid '20's, so I think the panelling will be OK for me and it won't be to much trouble to file off the offending bits, if necessary.

Don't agree David, I'm afraid!
Allen did some superb etches from his artwork for our 4-LAV sets for Balcombe. They came out at around £35 per vehicle body after adding the cost of Comet roofs and door furniture and are working very well for us.....apart from my ham-fisted soldering efforts!
Now that I've worked out the order of work, things should be a lot better.
