Some images of the new Hornby products will be seen soon on the Rail Express Modeller web site. They were sent to the publishers yesterday for putting on the site. The 2BIL looks very nice indeed.

Thanks to BRM for leaking the news ahead of the 'official' announcement on RMweb (owned by BRM)

It's all a bit Dad's Army "Don't tell them your name, Pike!" on RMweb at the moment, with Simon Kohler telling Andy York everything is top secret until the 17th, whilst the 6 December published official interview piece contains a picture clearly showing the 2-BIL CAD which no one is allowed to mention.

Maybe someone will write a comedy based around this one day....
That would be an ecumenical matter.

Unfortunately Ivan, this farce has gone beyond a joke.

Since it's Christmas, why not a panto around the theme? How about The Sorcerer's Apprentice, with Simon Kohler as the Sorcerer, and the General Secretary of RMWeb as the Apprentice? Plenty of magic spells that can run out of control if not properly mastered!
That would be an ecumenical matter.

Don't worry - just a little in-joke there.
That would be an ecumenical matter.
