NBR Developments "Built By" Plates

Postby Mark Tatlow » Fri Oct 05, 2012 4:22 pm

Whilst I am sure you all read your news so picked this up, but Ian Terrell is doing some rather nice "built by" plates to put in a descrete place on your model. I am doing so so that when stock goes on a joint layout, I have a chance of spotting it when it comes to packing it away!

This is what mine will look like:

There are other options of styling and of course you do not need to say "Built by Mark Tatlow" on yours................

See Ian's website for details:

THats a great idea. I have just thought of another.... you put hte year on that you built it. .....ohhh problem you have to decide at the start of the year how may things you want to build....then what happens at the end of the year when you still have 50 plates and you have only used 2.... busy over the christmas break

It would be like the old BR annual build programme, the dates give the year you intended to build it. ;)

Surely you would have a raised blank oblong you could punch/engrave a date into later.

I am having some plates, just as Will described, etched for me by Gary at 247 Developments, and there will be a space for scraping away the black paint to show the build date.
