I think I see the way this works now. You have to have a cat to deter the mice, and a dog to chase the cat away, then crank the system up to 50v ac to keep the dog off the tracks. I'm starting to think it's easier to keep the railway indoors.
Make Worcestershire great again.
Build a wall along the Herefordshire border and make them pay for it.
