Kemilway

Postby iak » Fri Nov 06, 2009 4:20 pm

Having just found the Kemilway website so, a few questions...
I know that they have a decent reputation for being accurate but do they "build" easily or do you need the fabled extra hand?
Can I assume that MJT have all the parts needed to finish the blighters.
Finally, has anyone actually built any :?:

In answer to your last question, no - apart from the famous loco chassis kits (which are another story altogether).
That would be an ecumenical matter.

As far as I can make out tin 4mm only the etches are available - which makes a complete vehicle a little problematic.
It is very worth while though downloading their carriage instructions sheets so that you can see what is being missed out in your 4mm model!

Hmmmm.... I'd forgotten I'd posted this.
Well I have some Kemilways now and very nice to - all the parts I need to get I can source from the MJT range so that is not a worry.
The instructions are a very interesting read as well.

Sláinte ;)
