BR Single bolster bogies

Postby John Fitton » Thu May 29, 2014 7:26 pm

I have seen prototype photos of the BR mark 1 single bolster bogie as fitted under GUVs and a few passenger vehicles, but I don't know of any model manufacturer. Does anyone know of a source, or what hacking is required to convert the familiar BR1 double bolster to the single bolster type?

Thanks in advance.

Just found this question whilst browsing for MK1 coach info. Hope this photo helps if the question is still relevant.
Basically there's a gap between the two springy bits.
This one is on a GUV at Butterley.
