Midland TPO

Postby Andy W » Mon Apr 16, 2012 7:22 pm

The sunny spell a week or so back has enabled me to prep some stock ready for lining - my spray booth doubles as a garden. I note from Midland Style and other publications that passenger carrying stock and their brake vans were lined in gold - NPCS etc were lined in yellow. I'm modelling around 1906.

Surely the King's mail wouldn't have travelled in common yellow lined vehicles? I have a gut feeling they would have been lined gold. Does anyone know? What was the policy with other companies' TPOs?

Thanks
Make Worcestershire great again.
Build a wall along the Herefordshire border and make them pay for it.
