Trevor Charlton retired and ceased to supply his etched zinc coach sides, and I believe has since died.

So far as I am aware, his artwork was not preserved, but I am open to correction.

That is a great pity if the masters have been lost. Did he use to work in the printing industry by any chance?

John

I believe he was a professional musician.

I don't know how he learnt to do the artwork, or to use zinc as the material for etching.

John,

Was this just a general query on what happened, or can I help?

I could lay my hands on a list of these sides, which were developed/marketed with Philip Millard, and Mike Gilgannon had some involvement in the Scottish ones. Moreover, I have some of the actual sides.

Jim,

Hi. The question was a bit of both. I had heard a rumour about the loss of the range and was hoping that they had been passed on to some other manufacturer. It now seems unlikely. If you have a list that would be very helpful. I am trying to build a light railway and seem to remember that Trevor's range had some interesting protorypes covered.

Regards,

John
