Hi Guys, I am not a GWR modeller but have aquired a siphon G and wish to convert to P4
What size wheels did they have? standard 3'7"? over to you Howard!

The pacific is nicely filthed. It looks more BR in that condition. Which year does it represent?
On Siphons the bogies were swapped around a lot. Again, which era?
Out of interest John Lewis is planning a new issue of this Siphon information so watch out for that one.

Hi Howard
The modelling period is the end of the LMS post war to 1947
The Duchess of Sutherland survived through the war in red hence it is in very dirty condition.
I have Sir William Stanier which is portrayed in near new condition, I will post a picture soon

Is that a Hornby (Margate) or Hornby (China) body? Or neither of the two?

Not sure, I think it is Hornby as it required the removal of the infil between the boiler and the footplate. done some time ago.
