I wonder if anyone can help with this van. It came my way from a chum who was moving on to 7mm. I think it is the Ratio kit, rather forlorn and unpainted, its ancestry is revealed by having Studiolith W irons! , I am not much into LMS things so don't have a lot of reference, I believe they were started in the mid 1930s and continued under BR when most of them got diagonal steel strapping. My era is the early-mid '30s so suits the earlier non-strapping design. I can't seem to find any pictures of these vans when first built so as to know where the lettering would be placed, I guess it would be medium sized LMS on the central door with the number beneath at the bottom, can anyone confirm this?

Diagram 1897 van lettered as shown in Plate 79 of Illustrated History of LMS Wagons Vol 1. The Gill Sans I have used is the wrong typeface and weight, but this may help to show insignia positioning on this particular van, as running in 1938 (but still with early pattern insignia).
