Good afternoon all,
Since Christmas I've been steadily building a dozen private owner wagons with mostly fictitious liverys using the very fine transfers from Model Masters, what I'm after if anyone can point me in the right direction is some custom waterslide transfers, white lettering printed on a clear waterslide sheet. Nothing fancy just various place names like "Matlock" "Derby" etc in a range of sizes. If anyone knows or has used a company that would be willing to make a sheet for me could you let me have the details as I've drawn a blank with a google search.
Also another quick question and apologies if this subject has already been covered but could anybody give me a rough date as to when the handrails on brake vans were painted white? Or have they always been that colour particularly the Midland Railway.
Many thanks gentleman.

I have used this company in Australia, http://www.steamandthings.com/, a very good service, despite being down under.

Fox Transfers will also do custom transfers. I have had some GWR ones done by them with very good results. They will also do etched brass nameplates.
Very good service ane reasonable prices too.

Might be worth having a chat with Railtec -
http://www.railtec-models.com
They are now doing complete loco packs where they are produced to order with your chosen number so commissions shouldn't present a problem I don't think. Steve's very helpful too if contact him.

Thanks Phil, Craig and James,
A few more for me to look at, I'm just trying to put together a list of everything I need currently and for future projects.
James that is a very good article in MRJ even if it is about an "oil burner"....

That's very kind of you say! Thank you!
To say I was excited when it came out would be an enormous understatement!
