ex-LNER Cattle Wagon

Postby timlewis » Thu Jul 31, 2008 8:09 pm

First topic in the 'wagons' section: wot, does nobody build 'em?

This is a Parkside body on a Dave Bradwell underframe, with sundry modifications and additions, more or less following Steve Banks article in MRJ 87. I've got 5 of these all at about the same stage. Really just the roof to do, then painting.

Hi Tim,

Yeah, I build 'em, but mine are freight cars, not wagons... :? Here's a peek at what I do, been practising my weathering techniques of late. Was quite pleased how this baby doll turned out, looks pretty close to my prototype pic I have of it. Click on the small image to bring it to a larger size, that way you can pick up on all the errors.

Cheers, Tony
