Some 'proper' 9F wheels would be the push I need to get started on my Bradwell chassis that's been sat in it's box for over 5 years...

I've got one Bradwell underway (frames and rods done), but there are at least two more.....

I open the box of mine every now and again, get frightened and put it away again...

Other than the fact that my eyesight deteriorated to the extent that I now wear varifocals, I thought it went well enough up to here:

CSBs were invented after someone tried to set up the springs on one of the other Bradwell kits.

I stand corrected... can't wait to see your 9F with oleo pneumatic suspension! Body roll could an issue though.

The new Peckett B2 s coming out have 3’7” wheels, can the print be expanded to suit?
Cheers,
David

Will the 9F print survive being pressed into a tyre?

Previously I have made the wheels a tight fit in the tyre with a bit of glue so they stay put. I have used Gibson tyres in the past but if I can get tyres CNC machined the I would design the tyre so that the centre has a more positive location. The fit I can get on an axle is similar to that of a Gibson wheel.
Is there a P4 tyre profile I can get so may get a quote for tyres?

Made to order P4 wheels, an exciting prospect

I'd start with a set of 9f wheels and go from there (I have 3 to build...one step at a time). So for me cost, to a point, would be a factor. Anything more than Ultrascale prices and I'd be out.
Looking forward to seeing how this moves forward. Just one more question...would EM tyres be available as well?
regards
Mike

I'd prefer the Exactoscale profile - the scale half-inch extra clearance each side would be most welcome with outside cylinder locos.
