A friend of mine is thinking of building a 5" gauge live steam version of this - approaching retirement, needs a project, etc, etc
However despite the prototype being easily viewable at the DRC, there appears to be a dearth of written material about it, and in particular plans that he can use to assess what is involved. Apparently even the NRM has drawn a blank.
Does anyone here know of any useful information sources?
TIA

There was a whole series of articles in MRJ back in 1999/2000, Nos 114 - 123. Laurie Griffin did them with Martyn Welch finishing off. Any help?

David, that's brilliant!
I'd only remembered the series of articles about the MRJ 4mm "kit" for WTC No 7. I didn't remember that any other WTC locos had ever featured in the magazine.
I'll be heading off to the bookshelf now for a look!
Cheers

There were drawings of the loco in early form in the HMRS Journal - no idea of date though.
