Hi All,
For some time now I have been asking Colin Seymour if he would consider making these wheels with 24in stroke and crank pin between spokes, he has always said yes, but other things keep getting in the way. I have checked Mr Sharmans book and there are about 35 classes which would run on these or very similar wheels. The odd number of spokes makes them stand out and I do not want to compromise the appearance of my locos. I said I would post this message to see how many other people may want this size and style, and Colin said he would push things forward if there is a good response, therefore if you are interested please reply, preferably giving some idea of the number of axles you may require.
Best regards,
Tony.

Going by memory (that could be a mistake) as all my reference books are in the workshop, I think that the LNWR Cauliflowers, Watford Tanks , DX's and 19" Goods were all 5' 2 1/2" 15 spoke.
At London Road Models, I know John Redrup would be very happy to see Colin produce these wheels to match his kits. David Stapleton has helped out with supplies of Sharman Wheels where nothing of the correct diameter was available elsewhere (usually the much larger diamater wheels), but customers have had to "make do" with one spoke too many from AG or Romford for these common LNWR/LMS locos.

Hi Will,
Most of the locos that require these wheels are pre group LMS types, the ones that Jol mentions plus several for the Highland and Furness, plus a few Taff Vale and Great Central. I could list them all, but I am sure it works better the other way round, that if you have a loco you want to build, which wheels does it need.
Best regards,
Tony.

Hello Tony,
If they are produced, I am sure I could find a home for at least one set of 6.
