It might be useful for someone who has the lovely Mainline model and wants to put a finescale chassis underneath it.

Interesting, but Brassmaster now do a sprung Easichas for a G2, so no need to build a whole new chassis, unless you feel the need.

I'd no idea Mainline Palitoy had produced a G2....

The great thing about the Brassmaster's kit is the ability to build the round top boiler version which gives you variety with the Bachmann which is only available with the Belpaire boiler.
