Hi Dave,

Don't keep your progress to yourself as this has been an interesting thread. We can all learn from the experiences of others as none of us are perfect. If you don't believe that, wait until I do my next post on my N7. It hasn't gone well but what a learning experience.

Hi All, here are some images of my 4f reassembled showing how I modified the spring wire attachment to the hornblocks. The ride height is still a little off but it's better than it was and now at least the rods don't hit the bottom of the footplate. Before I continue with the build I will add some shims to the rear of the chassis {where the the body sits} as the it's sitting slightly lower than the front. I'll probably raise the front end as well just to increase the overall height anyway. I've noticed the front buffers/buffer beam are slightly out as well {angled down a bit} so will correct that.
