Which bogies?

Postby Penrhos1920 » Fri Sep 06, 2013 8:23 pm

Recently there have been several new sprung / torsion bogies; both for coaches and locos. Dare I say a plethora of new designs. What are peoples opinions of the various designs? Specifically I'm in the market for some bogies for various coaches, class 37 diesels (both Vitrains and Bachmann) and possibly a class 47. So who prefers the Penbits or Rumney Models diesel bogies and why? Similarly who prefers which coach bogie?

I'm going to be investing in a Penbits 37 and a Rumney peak bogie sets shortly so I can bring them round for TOERAG to have a look.
