I normally use Nealetin for my brass and N/S etches - something I bought from Scalefour North before it moved to the current venue for the princely sum of a tenner.
It is now around £60 for a 250gm pot plus postage and since it is toxic it has to be by carrier.
I found this as a possible alternative, a 50gm pot of the same stuff for £5.99 inclusive of VAT and postage. It may be of interest to somebody. And it came the following morning after my order.

Re: Solder Paste
I have done two tests with it
a) solder paste into a right angle 1/2 etch bend - no problem
b)solder paste into right angle 1/2 etch bend with a small bit of 60/40 solder on the iron (my technique for forming a wedge) - no problem
I note that is is of a thicker consistency than Nealetin, it gives off more smoke and the finished joint is not as neat and it smell very different - but it is still functional.
Caveat emptor as they say - but I suspect I will use this in front of a window.
