Images of Lost London 1875-1945
I just came across this book in Smith's. It's full a myriad of period photographs of street scenes and good value at a penny less than £6.

If this is the English Heritage book ("Panorama of Lost London, 1870 - 1945"), then that's amazing! I paid a penny short of £40 for it when it was published.
[Or is this a different book using the same archive photos?]

Thanks very much for posting the availability of this book.
Lots of period detail, including people of the day, in good quality print sized pics.
Would not have noticed this in my local Smith's as on display with books on the 'Great (?) War '.
Steve.

I found this version in my local library in the loan section so I borrowed it and then photocopied the 10 or so pictures that were most useful for my purposes. Otheres may also find in in their local library, or could request that the library gets hold of a copy.
A very usfui book and very well produced.
