Question re Cobalt point motors. You mention that you use the digital version for the yard but the analogue type for the main line. Can you just tell us why that is? I have a similar configuration planned so your experience would be helpful.

Hi Chris,
The intention is for the section of the main line past the shed, between Engine Shed Sidings Box and Lawrence Hill Junction box, to be operated proto - typically using lever frames with interlocking hence the use of analogue units on this part of the layout. At present each box has it's own control panel with relays controlling the interlocking.
The shed yard and storage sidings use digital cobalts as I can route set using the NCE controllers.
