I'd be interested to know how the build went, in my experience HL kits are so well designed they are a joy to build. Whose wheels did you use?

I built it last year. It went together very well but I have also arranged for it to be sprung. Painting was just done using Halfords grey primer and then with Precision Caledonian blue and then various coats of Precision Dirty Black, Frame dirt and heavily thinned Matt black. Here are some pictures I took during building last year.

Yes it has a chip installed now, I cut the glazing out before I started building it and all the cab interior parts are painted ready to go in. Other than that just crew to go in.

The very small chip in it means it can only run on DCC.
