Here are some images of an MJT Brake composite I have been working on. I have added some extra bits of my own on the buffer beam. The corridor connections are Masokits, the sprung bogies from Rumney Models and the buffers are from Markits. I will leave the jumper cables until after painting in full teak livery which is the next job!

Best33, that looks great I have been thinking about purchasing a full kit of either the brake as you have done or the all third. I will need some Gresley carriages to haul behind my V2's. The buffers look very interesting. I have not used anything from Markits previously.
What was your thinking over the MJT bogies equalized Vs Rumney models sprung?

Re: MJT Gresley Brake Composite.
You have made an excellent job of the end detail on your Gresley.
I have built a few for my Grantham layout and do appreciate the amount of extra work you have put in.
The buffers are new to me. As it happens my friend, Bob How, introduced them to me yesterday during a phone call. I have ordered the last set from H & A models.
Keep up the good work.

Thanks.
I generally prefer sprung bogies to equalised, not so much for track holding but for the quality of the ride and quiet running.

Thanks.
Fortunately I only need to make one of these to represent the through coach from Penzance to Aberdeen, I discovered the buffers after someone on RMWeb pointed them out. I drilled the corners to add the bolts to the turnings. I need them to be extended at both ends so the Markits versions were welcome.
