Listed Signal Boxes

Postby David B » Fri Jul 26, 2013 3:19 pm

Twenty six of the UK's railway signal boxes have been granted Grade II listed status by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport. The Daily Telegraph has a gallery of images on their website.

The full list is on the BBC website along with more images. Last September, the BBC put up a gallery of '10 of the best' listed boxes.

This is not the complete list of listed signal boxes, only of the further 26 that have been added.

Regrettably, listing does not "save" a box, witness Teignmouth.
