Sidmouth Station Building

Postby philchudley » Thu Dec 22, 2011 4:50 pm

Hi

Does anyone know of a source of a drawing for Sidmouth Station building?

I have drawings for the other buildings (from LSWR Society), but they do not have the station building. Internet searches have not yielded any results.

Any assistance most appreciated.

Thanks

I obtained a drawing some years ago from Newton Abbot Public Library, I think it was. This was a photocopy of a drawing (which is clearly very tatty) of the station building as originally built. Since then I have sought in vain. Fortunately much of the station building is still there, but not quite the whole. A garage has taken over one end and that part has been significantly modified. I take it you are intending to model it, which I have been doing for some years now. Perhaps you might wish to contact me direct on whitgift916@btinternet.com and we can compare notes.
