I’m pleased to advise you of the formation of a new Area Group known as Marshlink Finescale Area Group (East Sussex / Kent Borders)
We are a group of finescale Railway modellers from the East Sussex / Kent border area between Bexhill, Battle, Hastings, Rye, Romney Marsh and Ashford.
Seven members attended our inaugural meeting on 31st October 2019 in Rye where we shared our interests and current projects.
We plan to meet in Rye on the first Thursday of the month starting on 5th December 2019.
If you are interested in joining us please contact: Steve Carter at mfag@scalefour.org
Why Marshlink?
The area group name is taken from the Marshlink line which is a railway line in South East England. It runs from Ashford, Kent via Romney Marsh, Rye and the Ore Tunnel to Hastings where it connects to the East Coastway line that runs towards Eastbourne.
