Just to let you know that the Alex Jackson pages on the Manchester Model Railway Society website have been updated to include further details about the jigs and parts by Palatine Models which are available through the Stores. This update does not supersede much of the information contained in the book, 'Alex Jackson - The Man and the Coupling' but is intended to provide additional information to enable the modeller to make a more informed decision on their choice of automatic coupling. The book is still essential reading for those people wanting to understand fully the rudiments of the Coupling. The MMRS Alex Jackson pages can be found at: http://www.mmrs.org.uk/technical/ajcoupling.htm
