My first attempts at ground signals from an MSE kit. Not 100% happy with the red stripe (despite spraying at a very low pressure I still got some bleed) but they look fine unless you get really close up, just got to get them to work now...

John a little trick with these small ground signals is to use two operating rods; one that operates the signal disk and the other that operates the balance lever. Trying to get the linkage from the former to the later as per the prototype is otherwise too challenging (for me anyway!)

I find it best to spray the red first, then mask with a single strip of tape, then spray the white.

Oddly, that's what I do with semaphore arms, spray the stripe then mask it but if never occurred to me for the disks!
