Last week Branchlines supplied a new worm and gear set. They were installed for Scalefour North, where a trail on Paul Gittings test track showed the quartering was out. Michael Edge kindly supplied missing bits from the kit, so I'm now on course to complete the brakes and a few cosmetic bits.

I was at Peak Rail Rowsley on Friday doing some work for LMS 10000 - Ivatt Diesel ReCreation Society. On a previous visit as I was leaving I spied a Yorkshire DE2, actually BSC No 2, "Rotherham", one of the prototypes. Seeing as none of the production ones survive I took the opportunity on this visit to take detailed photos.
