New Mere was exhibited at the Island Show held at the Medina Centre and drew many favourable comments, especially as it was the only finescale layout present other than Maurice Hoppers micro 3/16th masterpiece.

What Steve failed to mention was the total lack of heating in the hall on what was the coldest w/e of the winter so far. 0/10 to the Centre Management. However as Steve said the layout had a good runout and plenty of interest from the punters.
