Thanks Noel. From the notes I've been supplied, the schedule is broken for one slot (17.00) on Sunday. Probably best not to be surprised by that, as you note!

Re: Scalefour Southwest at Railwells 2016

Ah, is it just new busses, because it was the 376 (I was supplied a photo) I was referring to.

It appears to be a half hourly service, so quite convenient.

South Hants Area Group Meetings 2016

Somewhat belatedly, I uncovered the attached in my inbox. Hopefully Ray will be able to post these himself in future.

Remaining are the September (13th) and November (8th) meeting dates.

Sorry you've had to point that out twice - my fault for not recalling that. Now fixed. Richard Simmons' name is now also spelt correctly.

Re: Scaleforum 2016

Good to know David. See you in September! I've just updated the website, and I now have the summary information that members will have seen in Scalefour News 197. The eagle eyed will spot a couple of changes. Firstly, as announced elsewhere , the Bring and Buy will be present. Secondly, Brian Harrap...

Scalefour Southwest at Railwells 2016

I've just completed posting details for Scalefour Southwest at Railwells 2016 on our website.

I understand that there is a new bus option from Bristol this year, which improves the public transport options for getting to the show.

It is only a few weeks away now, so I hope you enjoy a visit!

Re: Scaleforum 2016

I have just followed the link above and purchased and printed my Scaleforum ticket, but note that it is headed Scaleforum 2015 and the dates are shown as 19th and 20th September. Yes mine says the same. Ok, so I think I should now have fixed that. I believe the changes were to the ticket template, ...

Oops. It appears I forgot to update a piece of the website.

I'll fix that later, and let you know - I suspect you can simply reprint your ticket.

Re: Scaleforum 2016

I've just marked the ticket page live, so advance tickets are now available.

Members will have seen the preview in recent Scalefour News, and I'll endeavour to get some more details of the show on the website shortly, so that it's more obvious what you can buy advance tickets for :-)

North London Group new website address

I've recently been informed that the NLG have a new address for their website:

I've updated their area group page to reflect that.

101 Not Out Retrospective

I've just uploaded a retrospective for 101 Not Out . Hopefully it's a reminder of an event I certainly enjoyed back in March. I'd quite like to caption the photos with names, but there are many people there I don't recognise. So, if you do want to put a name to a face, please comment here, e.g.: htt...

Re: Track Planning & Layout Ideas.

It turned out that I had to flip switches in two places to get the effect I was looking for, so having now done that, large file attachments (not inline photos) up to 100MB are now possible. I've added the file Knuckles shared with me to his posting above. I did discover that some browsers, sometime...

Re: Track Planning & Layout Ideas.

EDIT: Nope, the Anyrail file is about 63MB's and it is still rejected as "File Too Large" Would you mind sending me the file (or a link to download it from somewhere) so I can see what's up? Email is unlikely to work, as big files tend to break there too. Dropbox would be my suggestion, i...

Re: Track Planning & Layout Ideas.

Sorry, John, but I am not sure what this means. Does it mean we can now put 100MB files in posts in line, or as attachments, so that they impact on our download limits set by out ISP whether we want to see them or not? Only if you click on them. Martin. Martin is quite correct. Attachment size matt...

Re: Track Planning & Layout Ideas.

OK it will now, I've added it to the whitelist. Max file size is 10Mib The full version is, err, almost 70. I've taken the liberty of increasing the limit. We're not short of space, and page views are not impacted by the size of attachment. The forum now thinks the limit for this class of file is 1...

Out and about in Epsom

We're on the road with St Merryn again this weekend. Nearby for some of us - the Epsom show at the NESCOT college.

Here's a behind the scenes shot from setup on Friday:
