Re: Help on Radius's
Hi Dave,
I've been watching this interesting thread develop and noted your concern about the width of the station baseboard. Could it be two parallel boards, one purely scenic, behind the station? It's a bit unusual as an idea but in terms of weight and movability it might help.

Re: NAG at DEFine Modellers’ Day 20th January 2018
Thanks Terry, The test track was built as a "test track" for various members of NAG to hone their skills at plain track and more the complex allowing both rivet and ply and function chair construction methods to be tried. It would be a good one-man project. We did think we should have a si...

Re: Southern 8' Steam Bogies
I've used Bill Bedford units for most of my stock with good results. They are available from Eileen's without any cosmetic frames so your original plan should work. You might need the secondary springing units as well but they are easy to retro-fit.

Re: I,m a Bully
The SEMG is very helpful on coach sets if you follow the links from the Bulleid page suggested above to the spreadsheet half way down the "Sets" page. I use this as a reference for all my sets as it summarises information from a number of sources.

I completely agree with Martin. I'm sure the family have more than enough to deal with as it is.

Hi Bill,
It looks to me as if the frames are the same but your version has a cradle for the coreless motor to make it fit the original. I've attached a photo of mine for your info.

Hi Bill,
I have three of the originals and they have split frames and an open frame motor some 20x11mm in size.

Hi Rob, sorry two uses of the word prototype! I meant your model prototype not the real one. However I'm sure the new dome will make the wait worthwhile.

Looking good Rob. Some photos of the prototype kiln may be inspiring for others. I was impressed seeing it in the flesh.

Factories act
Hi everyone, It was brought to my notice by a friend that the 1906 amendment to the1901 factories act section 697 has been done away with. I didn't even know it existed but here is a link. Fascinating I think and I'm surprised getting rid of it was allowed by the Health and Safety folk. See you next...
