Yes, it's Kings Cross, or at least as much of it as I have built. It's appeared twice in MRJ, but I think what you remember was in issue 195 - a long time ago now and more pointwork added since then. Julian, Nearly all of my c100 turnouts, slips and diamond are made using Masokits etched point kits. I have built turnouts and some plain track in the distant past using ply and rivet, but chose the Masokits system as it seemed to offer me the best chance of building the complex formations I needed....

I completely see that Dave. I hadn't clicked Bob who you were and that we met each other recently. I hope Kings Cross is nearer having a new home? I think to reconvene the party with Dave too at the Queens Arms for another delicious pint is called for sometime! Meanwhile here is a quite inspiration...

Well Julian, you appear to have retreated somewhat from the statement you made after visiting Chris P's layout, where you advocated being able to individually adjust the weight bearing on all wheels. I've no doubt at all that the J50 will work using the CSBs which come with the kit. Just be careful ...

You got there before me Chris. I've seen what you have sent to Mick W, which looks good. For the benefit of Julian, who I know is interested in such matters, I can say that it ought to be fairly straightforward to convert the J50 chassis to adjustable leaf springs, using the High Level hornblock tag...
