There will be two versions one to fit a stan...

GWR Autocoach control gear

I was at Didcot last week measuring the control gear on the Autocoaches there, I was going to do a etch detail kit but ran off a 3D print to see if everything fitted although the one piece 3D print came out so fine I decided to stick with the print as it is finer than I think could be achieved with ...

Re: 14xx Top feeds

I have another photo of 1473 with GWR on the tanksides but with a BR smokebox numberplate with no top feed, dated 23rd July 1973 which is a typo so guess it would be 1953.

Re: 14xx Top feeds

1473 had a top feed in black until it went to works in 1959 and came back green without a top feed.

Hi Gerry

no problem I can cut curtains if you need them they are from 0.5mm Rowmark with half cut lines to give some relief, I glue them to rear of the glazing with evostick.

I am sure Modelu can you some centres off as I think they are in his range, although I have my own printer now but I don't know if Alan adjusted my design at all.

Re: Aylesbury (Town)

It has been a while since an update on Aylesbury, although quite a bit of the trackwork is laid wired and with point motors working. Hopefully in the next few months the remaining track and platforms will installed.

Re: Any Wheel and size!

Previously I have made the wheels a tight fit in the tyre with a bit of glue so they stay put. I have used Gibson tyres in the past but if I can get tyres CNC machined the I would design the tyre so that the centre has a more positive location. The fit I can get on an axle is similar to that of a Gi...

Just a bump to say RAILEX is this weekend. Good quality layouts and probably one of the best shows for specialist traders too.
