Hi David,
Thanks for the kind comments! At the moment, John's done a wheel swap to get things moving for conversion.
Cheers,

Re: North Elmham NNAG Layout
Thanks Ian and Jim, It's a good looking layout I think, one building we've not discussed yet is the granary extension. I can't find a date (ground signals are still in place) as to when it was constructed, but it looks nice and would sit at the front left next to the original big building as seen ab...

Some more progress on the test track last week by us, I'd laser cut some Peco O gauge flexi track down the centre so we could space them out to scale seven with thanks to Richard for the loan of his track gauges. I'll also do this with the N gauge track to give us 2mm :) Test Track TJH01 September 2...

John and I had a few hours today laying the first pieces of track on the test track here at my unit at Fakenham. This will be available to members as well. It was good to see various gauges other than P4 in the group, certainly seems to be quite a bit of experience too. Looking forward to the next m...

Re: Home made laser cut sleeper sections
I've recently cut 10,000 Irish sleepers for the stores, and over 6,000 for another customer so I've now got a bit of experience with the process. You will always get a bit of waste, the biggest hassle is keeping the sheet material flat. Its easier to do a couple of hundred sleepers at a time using b...

Well, things have moved on since the last update. I've now got a rental premises in Fakenham due to a very full garage and workshed. Hello, I will certainly be looking at stock boxes in the future, I'm stuck on bespoke baseboards at the moment and for several more weeks. Hi Rob, If you can get to Scaleforum next month then you will find lots of people to chat to and help you on your way. I'd personally go for the round the room layout, I've done some test curved boards at 3ft 5inch radius curves for the centre track. The biggest problem you may face is buffer/coupli...
