Re: J94 CSB chassis questions.
Good evening Simon,
With regard to the High Level Jig then, yes, the holes are to offer options for best fit. There's a useful tutorial on the High Level Site at: http://www.highlevelkits.co.uk/jigpage.html
Have fun!

Hi Jeremy,
I got them from Bill some time ago; you remember, that time when going to exhibitions such as S4um could happen!
I'd PM him if he's not lurking watching his name come up.
All the best,
Bevis

It might be worth having a look at Tony Wilkins' thread: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=5727 as he deals with templot a lot.

agree with Terry. Happy to help and I would like to thank my fellow EMAGers (formerly NAGers) for supplying locos (David Clarke), allowing me loo breaks and helping in general.

Have fun Ben but do stick to the instructions and read them at least twice or you may end up with problems (Yes, you know how I know that!)

Re: Coach gangway connectors
Here are a few shots of the Masokits gangway as fitted to my Ironclad brake. The brake end is latched closed and the other open. They are fiddly but worth it, connect to each other if required and they perform well over crossovers. I think the look is worth the effort compared to the Branchlines ver...

Knowing next to nothing about this subject but having been watching this thread, looking forward to seeing t' mill on Saturday and an interest in Arts and Crafts I wandered onto the Art Workers' guild site and found a W Stott as an Honorary Brother in 1893. http://www.artworkersguild.org/media/2260/...

Nice work Mike.
After seeing the layout in the flesh at S4um North I recently found myself with an hour to kill in Boston and so visited the swing bridge.
I had a wander around the control building and can see you really have caught the prototype well.
Regards,
Bevis

Re: Construction of a Test Track
Hi Colin, Another way round the fishplate issue is, where insulation is not needed, to file a small V in the rail ends so the cross piece doesn't get int he way of expansion. I can't remember where I got the idea from but it solved my issue of the rail ends chopping the fishplate in half and the hal...

Tim, As one of the on-lookers at the unsoldering ceremony I can assure you it is as simple as, heat up hot plate, place offending bits on, wait for slump, repeat as necessary until correct bit falls off, clean up plate, clean all denatured solder off parts of kit and start again with putting item ba...

Re: A new lever frame design
Just to confirm Terry's comments on the robustness of the catches the NAG group have one on our Scalefour stand which goes to local exhibitions and is as good as when it was built despite many children, and heavy handed grown-ups, thrashing the levers back and forth!
