Kean Maygib
introduced a new range of P4 wheelsets in 2006.
The Society stores are stocking the disc wheels from the range shown below. In place of the previous Kean-Maygib style of plastic centered wheels with steel tyres these new wheels have turned steel discs fitted to the axles with a central insulating bush. The Lowmac disc and coach disc (KM05) wheels have a particularly pleasing profile as seen in the pictures below while the wagon wheels (KM02) have a recessed face reminiscent of the Nucro/Jackson/Romford style. |
