| PC34 SR 4 wheel 'BY' Utility Van This vehicle is basically a standard Southern van extended to include a guard's compartment. First built in 1937, 250 of these vans were widely used throughout the country on passenger and parcel trains. This is an ideal vehicle for including in short train formations, when in the 1960s the parcels might outnumber the passengers. |

| PC36 Southern Railway (ex SECR) 'PMV' Parcels Van Almost 300 of these vans were built in 1935/38 for parcels, mails and luggage traffic, with some lasting into the 1970s. Some vehicles were adapted to work on push pull trains. Many were converted into Engineer's mess vans on withdrawal from mainline service and as such are still in use. In BR times they were used throughout the system. Our kit also allows the SECR design (without side ventilators) to be built. |
